Hochheim Prairie's pledge to its members is to handle all insurance claims with fairness and integrity in a timely manner.
You, the member, also agreed to certain responsibilities when you purchased a Hochheim Prairie policy. The Hochheim policy requires that claims be reported within 30 days for any loss other than theft. Upon discovery
of a theft, the member must notify the police immediately and their agent within 7 days of the discovery. Timely reporting of a claim is a benefit to you and Hochheim Prairie Insurance.
These benefits are as follows:
- Additional damage can be prevented by taking steps prescribed by a claims adjuster.
- Facts can be obtained easier and damage assessments can be made sooner.
- Repairs can get underway quicker.
- Ensures that you receive a claim reimbursement in a timely manner.

By not addressing or reporting your loss as quickly as possible, you may subject your property to further unseen damage which in turn may cause repair costs to escalate. Finally, your coverage may be jeopardized if
the damage goes unreported beyond the policy requirements.
