DISCOUNTS FOR PROPERTY POLICIES
CLAIM FREE RENEWAL DISCOUNT - PROPERTY
A 10%
Claim-Free Renewal Discount will be applied to each Farm Mutual policy that has been claim-free for the last 3 years. ALSO, policies having no claims for 10 years will receive an ADDITIONAL 5% discount on
their insurance premium. Each policy will stand on its own. It is important to remember, however, that the Association pays the cost of processing a claim, even where no payment is made to the member;
therefore, a policy will not be eligible for the discount if a claim was submitted, even if the claim was below the deductible or where no coverage applied.
CLAIM FREE NEW BUSINESS DISCOUNT - PROPERTY
In order to qualify for this 10% discount, the applicant must have
had no paid claims/losses within the 36 month period prior to the prospective effective date.
COMPANION POLICY DISCOUNT -- PROPERTY
If you insure your
automobile(s) with Hochheim Prairie Casualty Insurance Company or Hochheim Prairie Insurance Company, you will receive a 10% discount on your dwelling policy with Hochheim Prairie Farm Mutual Insurance Association.
HAIL RESISTANT ROOF DISCOUNT

METAL ROOF DISCOUNT
Dwellings having a metal roof will receive a 5% discount on the dwelling and personal property rate.
NEW DWELLING DISCOUNT
Premiums on homes will be discounted as follows:
- 20% for Dwelling Units 0 - 3 Years Old
- 18% for Dwelling Units 4 - 5 Years Old
- 15% for Dwelling Units 6 - 7 Years Old
- 10% for Dwelling Units 8 - 10 Years Old
- 5% for Dwelling Units 11 - 12 Years Old
SECURITY SYSTEM DISCOUNT
A 5% Security System discount will be available for homes protected by a fire
and/or burglar alert system. Please note that a copy of the invoice, certificate or other documentation indicating the type and existence of the security system is required.
