The Hochheim Prairie Group of Companies takes your privacy very seriously. Our policies for collecting, securing, using, and sharing your non-public personal information are provided to you upon becoming a
customer and every year thereafter, as long as you remain a Hochheim Prairie customer. This Privacy Policy will continue to apply even if your relationship with Hochheim Prairie has terminated.
PRIVACY PRINCIPALS
- We do not sell any personal customer information.
- We do not provide customer information to organizations or individuals outside the Hochheim Prairie Group of Companies who are doing business on our behalf for their own marketing
purposes, unless permitted by law.
- We provide the same protection of personal customer information to prospective and former customers as we do existing customers.
PROTECTION OF NON-PUBLIC PERSONAL INFORMATION
We maintain physical and organizational safeguards as well as electronic safeguards to shield customer information. We review our procedures regularly by
monitoring our computer system in order to safeguard your information. We restrict access to information about you to employees who need to know that information in order to provide you with the products and
services available to you. We require non-affiliated third parties with whom we share non-public information to adhere to our privacy standards.
We gather only the information we feel is necessary to conduct our business and provide you with the customer service you deserve. Most of the information we maintain about you, is obtained from you, through
your Hochheim Prairie agent. The following are examples of information we collect:
- Information that you provide on applications and other forms as well as written correspondence.
- Information obtained in conversations with our staff by telephone, electronic communication, and in person.
- Information from transactions with us, such as payment history, claims and underwriting documents.
- Information from sources not affiliated with Hochheim Prairie such as claim history and driving records, or from consumer reporting agencies.
HOW WE USE THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
The information we collect is used to service your accounts, underwrite your policies, ensure correct rating criteria, ensure proper billing, and process your claims.
INFORMATION DISCLOSURE
Personal information about you may be disclosed to persons or organizations inside or outside the Hochheim Prairie Group of Companies as permitted or required by law.
We may share your personal information as necessary to handle claims and protect against fraud and/or unauthorized transactions.
We do not sell your personal information. Personal information is not provided to persons or organizations outside the Hochheim Prairie Group of Companies who are doing business on our behalf for their own
marketing purposes. Hochheim Prairie does not disclose any non-public personal information about its customers with non-affiliated third parties except as permitted by law. Information may be disclosed to third
parties without your authorization, as permitted by law. The information is generally used to provide insurance related service and to make insurance related decisions. Examples of third parties to whom we
may disclose non-public personal information about you include insurance regulators, administrators, reinsurance companies, and claim adjusters.
Additionally, personal information is shared within the Hochheim Prairie Group of Companies to allow us to better serve you, to underwrite your policies, and to improve our products.
